Vintage robin - Alex Clark Christmas card
Part of Alex Clark's Christmas card collection, this petite Christmas card is decorated with one of Alex Clark's cheerful robins who appears to have hopped onto the front of a vintage victorian Christmas card. Blue calligraphy script half hidden by the bird reads "To a great friend with best wishes for Christmas and the beat of LUCK in the New Year".
Designed in her studio in rural County Durham, Alex Clark's beautiful greetings cards features her paintings of the British countryside and the various cute and quirky animals that inhabit it. All creatures great and small, from tiny dormice to humans and highland cows are brought to life in vivid colours.
