Freddie Street Vet charity card

This charity card features a watercolour portrait of Freddie who lives on the street with his houseless owner, and has been treated by Street Vet multiple times. 

StreetVet is a registered charity that offers free veterinary care to pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness in the UK and provides all sorts of care from major surgeries to lump inspections and vaccinations, to loving cuddles and warm coats. StreetVet continues to provide support clients for one year after they secure independent accommodation.

In October 2021 Freddie was bitten by another dog which affected his spine and he was left paralyzed. Within six weeks of the incident Freddie had received all of the necessary initial care from StreetVet and it was time for him to begin hydrotherapy sessions. Hydrotherapy is a controlled and specialist water-based therapy commonly used for dogs with compromised mobility to help them regain their strength. We are very pleased to say that with the excellent care and attention of the StreetVet team and the dedication of Freddie's owner, he is now walking again.
